Notifications and emails

GigSpace tells you about things that need you: offers, changes to a gig, check-in prompts, cover requests, and money.

You can control most of this in your notification settings. Each type can be set to arrive immediately, be gathered into an hourly or a daily round-up, or be muted.

If you're part of an agency, the hourly round-up is what you get unless you choose otherwise: one email an hour with everything that happened, grouped, instead of one email per offer accepted or declined. Notices to you as an artist or a venue, and anything from GigSpace itself, arrive as they happen unless you choose otherwise. The phone apps tell you straight away either way, and the bell in the app always shows everything.

Some things can't be quietened. Check-in prompts and the day-of alert are always immediate, because they're the ones that stop a venue being left without an act. That's deliberate.

If you're getting more email than you want, move the noisier categories to a round-up or a digest rather than muting them: you'll still see everything, just once an hour or once a day.
