GigSpace Artist · iOS & Android · Free for artists

Know where you're playing.
Know what you're owed.

GigSpace Artist is the app your agency books you through. Every offer, every date and every fee, in one place: say yes in a tap, keep your calendar your own, and never send another “are we still on for Friday?” text.

On Google Play now. The iPhone app is on its way to the App Store.

Google Play labels it Early access for now. It is the real app.

The tour

Five tabs. Your whole working week.

The offer, the venue, the time, the fee and the answer, all on one screen. No scrolling back through a group chat to find out what was agreed.

Gigs

Offers, waiting for a yes

Every offer from every agency you work with, in one list. A weekly residency arrives as one card, and one press takes every date.

The offer

The fee is on the button

Room, time, set length, the brief and the gear in the house. Accepting books you in straight away: a commitment, not a hold.

Calendar

One month, everything in it

Booked nights, offers still waiting, gigs you have played, your own gigs and your time off: one grid, one legend.

Earnings

What you're owed, to the euro

What is due now, what has been paid this year and what is booked ahead. Tap any figure to see the gigs behind it.

One gig, five words

You always know where a night stands.

The app, your agency and the venue all read the same five words about the same night. Nobody is working from an older message than you are.

  1. 1

    Offered

Your agency sends the night: venue, time, fee.

  2. 2

    Booked

You accept, and it is in your calendar.

  3. 3

    Confirmed

On the day you press once. Agency and venue are told.

  4. 4

    Played

The night is done and the fee is on your record.

  5. 5

    Paid

Your agency pays you, and the record says so.

The press on the day is the whole trick. One button on your Home screen, “Confirm I'm on today”, tells the agency and the venue you are coming. No phone call, no chasing, and nobody wondering at six o'clock.

Your calendar

The calendar your agencies book against is yours.

Block a holiday, a wedding or every Tuesday, and no agency can offer you a gig over it. Put your own gigs in, and the app warns you before you take something on top of them.

  • Time off for a day, a few hours, or the same day every week.
  • Add my own gig: the nights you booked yourself sit beside the ones an agency booked.
  • A weekly gig of your own? Add it once and repeat it weekly, up to six months ahead.

Your money

Every fee on the record, and the invoice sent for you.

Your agency pays you the way it always has: GigSpace never holds your money. What the app does is keep the count, so you know what is due without a notebook.

  • One invoice for everything you have played since the last one, sent in a tap.
  • Or let it send itself: weekly, every two weeks or monthly, on the payment terms you set.
  • Each invoice shows Paid, Overdue or its pay-by date. Every statement opens in the app.

Your profile

A poster, not a form.

Your photos lead, full width. Under them, what a booker needs to choose you: your act type, your genres, the rooms you have played, your rider and where to find you online.

  • Share profile sends it to anyone: a venue, a wedding couple, another agency.
  • Your gigs played and your starting fee sit where a booker looks first.
  • You keep it current, once. Every agency that books you sees the same act.

It's your act

One profile. Every agency that books you.

Your GigSpace account belongs to you, not to an agency. It goes where you go.

  • One account, every agency

Work with two agencies, or five. Their offers land in the same list, each one named, and your calendar stops them booking you twice for the same night.

  • Solo on Friday, duo on Saturday

Play in more than one act? Keep them all on one phone and switch between them from the top of Home.

  • The door opens both ways

You join a roster with the agency's invite link, and you can leave one whenever you choose. Your profile and your history stay with you.

The details

Built for the person on the stage.

You will open it in a car park with a guitar case in the other hand. It is built for that.

  • Locked when you put it down

Set a four-digit PIN and the app asks for it every time you come back to it. Add Face ID or Touch ID if you like. The PIN never leaves your phone.

  • A bell that means it

A new offer, a changed time, a cancelled night, a message from your agency: each one lands in the app's notification centre, with a dot on the bell until you have read it.

  • Actually native

A real app from the App Store and Google Play, not a website in a box. It reads in sunlight at a load-in and in a dark green room.

  • Three themes

Light, Dark, and GigSpace: the brand worn whole, in deep violet. Pick one, or let your phone decide.

  • Help, inside the app

A help centre with quick answers about offers, check-ins and money, and a way to ask us directly. The reply lands in the app.

  • Yours to close

Leave an agency's roster or delete your account from the app itself. No form to post, nobody to ring.

FAQ

Questions artists ask

Is it really free?

Yes. GigSpace Artist is free for artists, with nothing to upgrade to. Agencies pay for GigSpace. You never do.

How do I get started?

Your agency sends you an invite by email. Open it, create your account, and their offers start arriving in your app. If you already have an account, paste the invite link under My agencies and you are on their roster.

My agency isn't on GigSpace. Can I still use it?

You can create an account and build your profile today. Offers arrive once an agency adds you to its roster, so the quickest way in is to send your agency this page.

Does GigSpace pay me?

No. Your agency pays you directly, the way it always has, and GigSpace never holds your money. The app keeps the record of every fee, raises your invoices and shows which ones have been paid.

I work with more than one agency. Do I need more than one account?

No. One account and one profile. Every agency you join books the same act, and their offers all land in the same list.

What if I can't make a gig I accepted?

Open the gig and cancel your booking. Your agency is told straight away so the night can be offered to someone else. Agencies can see how reliably an act turns up, so a late drop-out counts for more than an early one.

I have an iPhone. Can I use it yet?

The iPhone app is with Apple for review. Until it is on the App Store, use Artist log in on this page from your phone's browser: it is the same account, and everything you do there is in the app the day you install it.
